It's all in the tune really. Like I said, I have 186,000 miles on my car running 12lbs of boost since 90,000 miles. No problems at all, even after running a 75 shot of nitrous on it for two seasons (from 65,000 to 90,000 miles).

A lower boost isn't any more reliable - if you have a bad tune, bad gas, you can blow it up just as easily at 5 lbs as 15 lbs.

bad gas ? so 91 octane tuned mustangs run for longer .... **** i really need to unlock my sft . is the american muscle tunes for life a good option . i never noticed a gas mpg increase on my bbk intake could this be because of no tune . also my maf sensor was really close to a metal line near the engine looked like it was capable of causing excess heat . 600 miles with my bbk on i got a 8-9 mpg avg city

No such thing as a 'used' supercharger.
Once you buy it and install it,
that sucka never comes off...
Unlock the SCT...
