Thermostat Making a clicking/pooping noise!!!

I just replaced the thermostat on my 06 4.0 v6 mustang. it is making a pooping or clicking noise? what could be causing this?

How can you hear your thermostat? Is it your new one that's pooping.... I mean, popping? Need more info.

^+1 with Nuke. We need to know if it's popping only during startup, or is it all the time? You sure it isn't just loud fuel injectors? Ours are known to be pretty noisy.
