I have a 99 mustang gt, with the orginal Intake Manifold, or at least it doesnt have the crossover. I plan on getting a p-51 or some aftermarket intake down the road, and hope it lasts until then. I want to throw in a 180 thermostat, and want opinions, think it will help? I dont know if im eligible to go get the IM replaced by ford since its still functional and not cracked. What should I do?

I have run a 180 thermostat for almost three years now in all temperature weather and have had no problems whatsoever. If you check the Steeda website, or better yet give them a call, you can learn alot from them concerning cooler thermostats. By the way, they recommend 180 and NOT 160. If anyone want to argue the point, call Steeda. www.steeda.com
