Yeah when I googled, Mustang convertible removable hardtop all my results came up saying "1995 Mustang Cobra convertibles came with a removable hard top options from factory". If I were to do the targa kit i would definatly be getting full length sub-frames actually those would probably get done long before a targa top. Kits are like $1300 right? And i would assume the labor would be almost a grand for something like that. If I would find a place to get a removable hardtop. I would consider taking out the componetry of the convertible top. And then have the roadster cover things in place.

Ok how about this anyone know of a place that would do T-tops? I would think those would definatly be the more stable than a targa or vert.

If I'm not mistaken, FORD actually made a removable hard top (in limited quantities) for their convertibles, I want to say around 95 or 96. I've seen them on ebay once or twice and I believe they will fit through 04 verts. You might want to check with your local dealer, who knows they might still be able to get you one.

...oh, and I've got a 99 GT vert and absolutely LOVE it. I know it's a little bit heavier and slower than the coupes, but nothing like the wind and sun in your face when cruising........ and the verts get much more looks than the coupes.....
it was 94-5, and less than 500 were made, they had to make so many modifications to get it right, that it was not worth it.

In some of the pics the fit for those at hardtops.biz looks awful. The one side view where you can see how it meets up with the front.

See something like that I would totally buy the back window is coupe sized. Not vert sized so you can't see ****. Now lets see one for the 99-04's!

Yeah but I think that targa top would get just as many if not more just because its so different then what you see every day. I really like the look of that targa top.
+1 they are sexy and rare.
