the air moves too fast anyways. they have something on this in the MM that codes in. go check it out

Even if the air was barely moving, the fact that it is moving almost negates any thermal transfer that might occur.

Maybe we should send something to Mythbusters about CAI kits...

Yes I watch Mythbusters and my kids have caught me watching Pinks too, what about it?

Thanks for all the input guys, the reason why i wanted a intake that would give me the best gains was because i am gonna get a dyno tune soon and the guy at the tune shop told me that the intake pullies and exaust would be callibrated together, and that why i am so concerned about the intake so that i can get the most from my tune.

I want to get a K&N fipk and i have been searching for like 1/2 an hour trying to find the answer to my ? but coudn't find it. My ? is if this is a good intake because i have the bbk cai right now and recently found out that it is crap? Is the K&N worth getting for 200 buck$.

Please let me know.

yeah don't do it. its not worth the 1 hp you might not even see over the BBK one.
