I have a NON pi project of my own and I have been watching the "Red headed step child" project closely. I can promise you one thing. Variable runner intake means mega $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ dont be suprised to see there price as much or more than any other 4.6 manafold out there. So ya Im not looking forward to seeing it or having high expectations of getting one. They will price it out of range. The only way it will be cheap is if the variable runner design is made into the intake like the PPsolutions intake in wich to adjust the runners you unbolt the bottom of the intake and grind off material to change the runner length. Also I have a proffessional Product plenum and I love it. The casting are rough inside, but at least they make there intake like the PPsolutions so that you can take it apart and port the inside of it. There stuff is easy to get to and port. Anyway the mags.........ya I never put to much into what they test. The red head was a good one but nice how it started out with 200,000 miles on it! then goes to a full rebuit motor with ported heads.............so it is hard to say how much they realy gained with the ported heads, or how good it was stock. I am unimpressed with magazine testing to say the least and dissapointed in the 4.6 market and its pricing. I SAY HURRAY FOR PROFFESSIONAL PRODUCT FOR FINALY GETTING THE PRICE DOWN TO A REASONABLE AMOUNT!

that intake seems like it would be so not worth the $500. Especially if you plan on getting a KB
