so i just got some 18x9 y2k cobra r's and i went to tire rack to look for tires. they suggested 245/40 , will this fit without stretching? i had planned on getting the sumitomo htr z 2's but i saw these for 6 buck more each. they got pretty good reviews and good ratings.

has anyone had these or any other General tires?

245's on a 18x9 wheel are going to be STRETCHED and have a really thin sidewall. You should really think about spending the money for a wider tire.

I have sumitomo's on my Cobra, they are great for the money. I don't know how they are in rain, as I've never driven mine on wet roads. The road noise is pretty bad, but once they wear a tad they quiet down a lot.

atleast a 255 but a 275 would be even better as far as looks and performance.
