Default New Predator today...

bought a predator tuner today..and the good news is that gave me a nice gain (butt dyno)...bad news is Im gonna need a stronger clutch soon...quick one-two shift on a grippy concrete bridge and I noticed some slippage...my question is this, Im in AZ, and we cant get 93 octane...I did not notice any pinging with the diablo tune, thik its safe to add some more timing only running 91?

trial and error put the timing advance on 10 if you get pinging at WOT then back it down to 9 and so on

base tune doesnt mess with timing.. you have to advance it yourself by changing the parameters

WOT = wide open throttle...... handheld tuner doesnt advance timing like a mechanical t/a.... it infact increases the timing 10% or whatever you choose throughtout the rpms so at idle 10% is like 11 degrees but at WOT its around 26degrees....so you could easily find that your car idles and drives fine with 10% and when you floor it you get pinging... so i recommend you time it for WOT to be safe..
