Default Motor Swap? Need Input?

I keep reading about how you can only take the 4.6 so far was had an idea if im gonna be spending 4 to 5 k on upgrades, boltons, z rated heads, racing cam, and excetra, would it be more wise to pull the motor in favor of a Ford Racing 302 p/n M-6007-Z50Z or the Ford Racing Big Block 460 p/n M-6007-F460FT.

i wanted to know would this be a more effective way of spening my hard earned money then rebuilding my 281?

Besides the obouious, of finding a new transmission and motor mounts, what are the other aspects i need to know and budget before even attempt this project.

Is is going to be hard to find replacement parts for these engines, or how would i find components that work with them, ex transmission, exhaust

Just looking for some helpful advise on my mustang. I am looking for the stang to mainly be daily driver that i still can take to the track. and thorw down numbers in the low 12's

Am i just wasteing my mine debating over this or should i just mod my current 02 gt, witch is bone stock.

Most likely just better off modding your 4.6. What are z rated heads?? If you want a 302 why dont u just buy a stroker kit for your 4.6? You will have the 302 (5.0) a built bottom end ready to be boosted. You could also go for a nitrous route if u wanted to. Pick up some 4.10's, drag radials, mid-pipe, 100 shot, couple other bolt-ons I think u should be able to get into the 12's.
