Ever since i first got my car i've wanted to S/C it, but the thing is, i'm still making payments on it and i'm in college. so needless to say..... i'm very pressed for cash. I've been thinking of going to a salvage yard and seeing if i can find a cobra to yank the s/c off of, possibly rebuild it if it needs it. How much do you think a salvage yard would charge for such an item???? How much would it cost to rebuild one???

If money is an issue, the Cobra s/c won't work for your GT. Cobra is 4v, your GT is 2v. A lot of time, money and work will be involved.
