Noise from car when it shifts?
I have been having a weird noise come from my 98 auto whenever i gun the car and it shifts gears. its kind of a squeak or somewhat like the sound a blow off valve would sound on a turbo when it releases pressure. it only happens when the gas pedal is to the floor and you feel the car shift into another gear. any ideas what it could be?

Yes, replace your serpentine belt with a Goodyear Gatorback. Mine doesnt do it but I have a Gatorback on it. My 03 Vic does it, but I havent done the belt yet. My DOHC Taurus did it too. Its a Ford thing. No biggie. Takes all of about 30 seconds to change it with the pry tool.
