Where to get heads P&P
So I need an engine rebuild now too (this car is killing me). Im probably going to go with a VT forged rotating assembly. I also want to do the VT stage 2 cams. VT heads are too expensive for me right now though.
Where can I get my heads ported and polished by someone who knows what they are doing and on average what does it cost? I live in northern CT (maybe there is a shop close to me?).
thanks

Your really asking at the wrong place, you need to find some people who are big on cars around your area and they will be able to help you find a good shop to get your heads ported and polished.

Yeah I know what you mean. Only problem is I live in a farm town. Modded civics and stock V6 mustangs are the norm (not that theres anything really wrong with the v6...). There really aren't very many fast cars around here. I wouldnt even begin to know who to ask...

I hear you, I know brand new vt heads aren't the cheapest but if you can't find a decent shop to do it, I would just save the extra money and buy brand new heads. Also, remember if you buy brand new heads you'll have the luxury of selling your stock heads to a npigt for a couple hundred bucks.
