Default p.i. head swap

does this head swap require any tunning

most people don't get it tuned afterward, but you have to run premium fuel. getting it tuned wouldn't hurt but it wouldn't gain you much.

well i cannot figure out why my car is running like stock when i have p.i. heads and intake manifold on it,so i dont know what else is wrong with it

i don't think thats correct. you don't need a tune unless you've changed the maf to a 99+ (or aftermarket) while doing the swap. perhaps a timing tweak but even that ain't necessary right away.

here's a link to another forum with the same questioned asked, the consensus is that you don't need a tune, and that you should feel something right away.

well i have changed the manifold also it is a 2001 so does that mean i need to get it tuned?
