I agree its a waste of cash as well - I think what people are saying though is that if your gonna beef or rebuild your bottom end anyways - might as well pay a few hundred more and stroke it - I know I would - that is if I were already down there.

well you figure, pistons/rods will run you about 1200 bucks...how much is a stroker kit?

ok, well thanks everyone, i really do appreciate the comments. i think what im going to do, is mim going to slap an ati procharger on it( which i have always wanted on all my cars) get some forged internals, then eventually work on the drivetrain ****, then when my motor blows, have maryland performance build me another motor with ported heads and all that, and have a f****** gross car,lol. what is everyones opinion on that?

well, first dont slap your supercharger on. take your time with it, and get a good tuner like tweecer or pms, and have it tuned properly, instead of using the chip the procharger kit will come with. second, upgrade your fuel injectors, so you will not have to use the fmu, supplied with the kit. and if you do that, your forged motor will never blow.

a 2v 4.6 can handle 20 psi with forged internals, valves, cams etc??? Thats still a little high on the psi, wouldnt you think?

ok so a procharger with lets say 9lbs of boost some 4.10's and some dr's is a good start or not? what kinda times u guys think i would run with that?
