De-Tuning my Mustang with Predator........
Ok, gas is pissing me off, so i was thinking about just taking the performance tune off my car, and just putting it on for the track. I had the car dyno tuned, and it hasnt been touched since. If i just go through the predator and write down the settings (A/f ratio timing etc) and go back later, punch it in, its the same correct?
Also, before i had the car dyno tuned, it was running quite lean. They have the fuel incresed about 1/2 way to the max. If i cut this maybe in half (1/4 way to the max) or even return it to stock it should be ok right?
I want to be able to run regular 87 octane again on the street, so if i return timing to stock and cut the fuel to eiether 1/4 of max or return it to stock, i should be all set and notice an increase in gas mileage?
The car for no reason has been burning A LOT of fuel lately. It only has 32k miles on it, is it time for a plug change?
