throttle body spacer question

RE: throttle body spacer question
A Throttle Body Spacer is an add on to your air/fuel intake area. It mounts between your TB and upper intake plenum. Originally used in the days of vehicles with carburetors, a spacer between the carb and the intake manifold would allow additional fuel/air mix to be present to allow for additional power, and was used to "disturb" the air in such a way so that the fuel would form smaller droplets mixing with the air better and increasing combustion.
With today's direct injection power plants, the throttle body spacer has become obsolete because the air and fuel mix in the combustion chamber.
Don't waist your time and money on one.
