Default ..Advice on my tire dilemma-

I need some advice..

Well I got my tires in from discount, the NITTO 555R dragradials (285x35/18) they will go on my 18x9 saleens.
same set up I was running. Anyhow, I dont feel like putting them on, I want to save them!

I can get a decent deal on some EAGLE F1 GS-D3s.. 285x35, so I might pick them up. Would that look goofy with some NITTO 555 extremes up front? (255x35x18) which are on there now.

The thing is, now.. I will be s/c sometime soon- will the nittos being a 285 be big enough or should I trade them back for some fatter tires?? and hopefully have some extra cash and find 18x10s within a couple months for them.

First off, Goodyear = Bad day. Hate goodyears, most over priced pieces of **** ever. As for your tire dilema, get some REAL street slicks you wont have a traction dilema, watch out for drivetrain breakage though. But if you like your nitto's, find some 18x12 rims and get 335/30.18's for the rear.

when you are s/c, the dr's arent going to make that much of a difference, not on the oily roads out here. I can be on I-15 in 4th gear and punch it and i can spin the tires, that shouldnt happen with drs. They will probably be better than normal radials but i wouldnt expect miracles. you arent going to wear the drs down in a couple of months, so you can put them on and get good wear outta em. Mine still have plenty of life in them after 6mos or so and i am not easy on them.
