Default EXHAUST QUESTIONS

hey guys i have an 02 gt and i wanna do an exhaust from the heads back. i was looking at long tubes but i heard some have to be cut and they are a pain in the *** to install so would it just be better to go shorties ???, and to compliment it probably a catted h-pipe most likely through some magnaflow mufflers. any opinions or suggestion???

Shorties don't offer much HP improvement as longtubes do.

what state do you live in? Do you have emissions? If not you might want to get a o/r pipe to eliminate the cats.

long tubes are a pain in the @$$ to install. if u are willing to sacrafice the could hp loss go shorties and go for power else where. as for mide pipe, go H if u want a muscle car sound, X if u want it to be loud, X will also have better flow. and cats or no cats are ur choice. and the cat-back kinda depends on prefernce and what kind of midpipe u go with, X or H

Unless headers are a must have for you, dont waste your time. Ive heard of people having to unbolt and move the motor around with long tubes. Go with a o/r midpipe. Prochamber or x is what id do. Any catback like slp or mac will sound good.
