I can see where the 2v heads won't really allow much of an advantage from increased stroke. I suppose that the big bore kit might work better because the increased bore will help unshroud the valves and allow the heads to move a little more air. Oh well more proof that F/I is the way to go with a 2V.

Now the Big Bore (3.7) with a similar h/c/i N/A will gain a solid 30-40hp and tq as per the tests Modular Performance did a few years ago. They showed 20hp gains on a stock h/c/i 2V with just the Big Bore kit....so thats why people tend to not go stroker.

I bet a 4v big bore stroker with ported heads and some cams would give pretty numbers, esp. with a K.B.!!
Now thats a build.

How Does this motor differ from any other? A bigger bore means more power! It Might not be huge number but it does give some
4.6 bore and stroke
3.55x3.54 =281 ci (3.55x3.55x3.54x8x.7854=280.5)
With a .020 bore increase
3.57x3.57=283.4ci (3.57x3.57x3.54x8x.7854=280.5)
2.4 CI means about 2.4 hp
