I would go pi you will have like 10:1 compression and get a good set of cams. JEGS has the pi heads on there web site www.jegs.com you could always get your old heads redone and ported and polshed then they will outflow the pi's but pi heads will be cheaper and if you have more money and port and polish them they will outflow NPI ported heads just my two cents.

sorry buts thats not true...p&p'd NPI heads from Steen Racing and Renegade Racing flow 225-230cfm which is on par with p&p'd PI heads from most trusted shops. Early reports on these heads not flowing good were wrong and alot of it had to do with people not doing it correctly. Go over to TCCOA.com and they will laugh at you for making that statement. Alot of those guys love it because they buy all the npi heads cheap and have them worked and have great heads for under $1000...

I have to admit i bought into myself and did a pi swap a couple years ago because i was told the stock sucked...but after more research and others doing testing i was wrong. If i hadn't spent the money on VT pi heads i would have sent my NPI's out to get worked and saved some money.
