Brake/ABS light... On/off

Brake/ABS light... On/off
My Brake light (idiot cluster) had been coming on more and more frequently under less and less braking since the last time I was at the ford dealership (February...). I didn't think anything of it till this past month or so...
Now when I brake the light will come on under minimal braking... and it will stay on unless I accelerate heavily or brake really hard.
I know it's not real clear but just driving around town normally it will pretty much pop on when I brake sometime and not go off until I brake real hard or accelerate quickly after I stopped... and when I let off the mid-heavy acceleration semi quick it will come on again without even touching the brakes!...
I'm sure it's some crazy sensor... but which one... where? and more importantly ... how much??
Thanks in advance... this is bugging the hell out of me.
Rob
P.S.
I’d really rather not take it back to ford the one near me is HORRIBLE at customer service and I’d rather see the Brake light every day

RE: Brake/ABS light... On/off
only advice I can give you is to check all the connections where you see any wiring plugs at the master cylinder or brake pedal or even at the wheel sensors for the ABS. could be one is dirty or loose maybe causing the light to come and go. of course, check the brake fluid level in the reservoir too.
