Default Head Inspection

Does anyone have any ballpark ideas of how much it might cost to have a set of heads checked out. They have the valves in them, springs, etc.. Everything, but cams. I was just wondering how much it might cost to get the heads checked?

nice one.

have them checked out for what, if anyone doesit they will just rip you off. Is the car missing or something? If you can, just make sure your plugs are not backing out... seems to be a major problem with the 4.6. If I had known about this beforehand I would have stuck with my '92 model.

Cool thanks guys. Thanks for the cool comment too. Haha. No, I got it covered. I just wanted to have them checked for warped, check the valves to see the lift they can handle, make sure the valves are straight, clean them up a bit, flowbench. You know all the good stuff. But yeah I'm getting them checked out for the hourly rate of $75.00. It's a respected shop in the area.

It's not Mustang Muscle. I talked to you before and you recommended MCP for me. They are awesome. I wouldn't go to mustang muscle. I took them up to Steigmeier. They used to big in the 2V world, but are going more towards porting blowers and stuff. A lot people have had, or heard of Steigmeier.
