flowmaster catback?

RE: flowmaster catback?
I had the American Thunder, 2-ChamberedFlowmasters on my old '98. I live in Colorado and I drove that thing in snow, sleet, hail, and sand storms....you name it, I drove in it. I had my Flowmasters on for 6 years and ~80,000 miles before the mufflers rusted through. After that, I bought Magnaflows. Now my '02 w/ Magnaflows sits inside only to be brought out on nice days.

RE: flowmaster catback?
Flows are GREAT! Ive had them on 3 of my vehciles and the only one i didnt care for them on was the 05 GT because they're now axelbacks. But they are a BEA-utiful additon to stangs previous to 05 IMO. Durability wise, if your out of snow, salt, mud, etc your looking atleast 7-10 years I would think, and for how in-expensive Flows are its worth it. ENJOY!!

thinking of gettin a catback system from flowmaster....my question is since its not stainless steel how long with this setup last? i dont drive it in the winter so salt wont be a factor.

alright, i think i made up my mind. This is what im getting. MAC offroad prochamber and flowmaster catback. my questionnow is...which series of flows should i get? do they all have the "traditional" empty 55gallon drum sound that im looking for? i would want it pretty loud. Im guessin just 40 series.

RE: flowmaster catback?
Ihave theFlowmaster Force 2catback and I love it. With a pypes catted X there's no drone. Don't get 40's if you want to talk in the car.Almost every40 series owner who rides in my car changes to 3-chambered mufflers. Outside you still get the Civic scattering flowmaster rumble but you can still hear yourselflaugh at the ricers inside the car.
