It can be done but it's more trouble than it's worth. If car is not a daily driver, good time to do the PIswap.
I believe you can find a NPI intake with the aluminum crossover though

from what i've read and heard, it'll fit fine if you just use plenty of RTV and is good for a small gain in power.

yes, you can swap the pi intake onto the npi heads. it takes time and work, but it can be done. i believe someone on modded mustangs.com did a write up on it.

here: be sure to take ou the space between the modded and mustangs bc MF wont let you write those two words together for some reason:

http://www.modded mustangs.com/forums/npi-to-pi-intake-swap-vt1878.html

hope it helps.

you can buy either. but im pretty sure if you have windsor heads, then you will need new valve covers. windsor is 99-00 GT'si believe. the romeo heads (01-04)should work with your existing valve covers. correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure thats right.

I'm doing my PI intake next week. I bought this kit, everything needed except the RTV genuine Ford parts, Already drilled and tapped. A little pricey at $290 but you dont have to run around getting parts and dealing with For dealers. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...:IT&ih=017

You may want to swap you cams for some PI cams, almost as good as complete head swap. still run on 87 octane. You can find a real good wright up as mentioned in the above post or do a search here. Lots of good info available.
