Well i tried again and failed!!!! I don't understand it, if i put the old shifter back in it works fine, when theMGW goes in the, shifterball comes right out of the cup???? Could MGW sent me a bad shifter??

ricky.. probably not. Did you see the black plastic cup on the bottom of the stock shifter and put it on the bottom of the mgw?

If you're having a lot of issues, call MGW... they are pretty good at phone diagnosis... but make sure that plastic cap is on there...

When i took off the old shifter there was atan color plastic cup inside of the shifter hole on the tranny..as far as you saying a black cup i don't see one...and if i need it where can i buy one if i lost it???
