I had my shift points changed right when the warranty ran out on the car. now I have 105k miles and it still strong. It really changes the car alot. Makes it feel alot stronger.

I've got a 02 auto, same trans. I got a SCT and hadLivernoise professionally tune the car as well a set my line pressures and shift points to the max. I also fine tuned the shift point at less then WOT. I am more than satisfied. Livernoise motorsports(Michigan) did the tune.
The only downfall is that it shifts just as hard at WOT as crusing 30 and snapping your neck/ Alittle irratating sometimes.

you can't really control your shifts in an automatic, the tranny controls the shifts when it needs to shift. but yeah i have a shift kit in mine and im not even that modded but when it shifts i can deffinetly feel the pull it gives compared to a stock tranny

Hell a shift kit is an improvment on any automatic.
If you have patience and time to install its worth it.
Add a tuner in the mix to adjust stuff and it should be pretty kick ***.
