just put your left foot on the clutch and your right heel on the brake and right foot toes on the gas and then release the clutch and you are doing a burn out

Using the brakes to hold the car in place is VERY hard on the rear brakes.
I just wind the engine up and dump the clutch. You won't sit still very long but you don't end up with blue rotors either. If burnoutsare going to be a regular thing, get cheap tires and rig a water sprayer to wet the tires before you light 'em up.A windshield washer motor and reservior in the trunk helps with this.
Another thing, don't bother to post here looking for sympathy if you get out of control and smash your car into a curb or telephone pole.Mustangs love to go sideways.

That SLP Brake-ControlPackage looks sweet. I usually just dump the clutch then quickly hit the brakes while still giving it gas. I keep it around 4 grand to make sure I get good smoke.

You could buy this ,and set there all day ..without appling any pressure to the rear brakes..and its great to use at the track in the burn out box...

Line Lock for the win! My dad had it on his old prostreet truck. With his massive Mickey Thompsons on the rear, that thing could sit there and make smoke for hours if he wanted it to.

heel toe works the best. dump-and-grab is very hard on the drivetrain. if you want to become a pro go get line-lock installed or something. If you dont feel like speding money on that, then have some one teach you heel toe method.

Heel to toe, turn your right foot sideways, with your heel on the brake and your toe on the gas. Rev it up, dump clutch, apply brake!

I let the clutch out completely and creep forward very slowly....punch the gas to break the tires loose while applying the break lightly. This takes some stress off the clutch and prevents too much slipping. This method works very well for me.

I hold it at about 4 grand for 5 or 6 seconds, until there is some smoke...Slowly let off both the break and the gas and throw it into neutral as you move forward a little to prevent stall or riding the clutch at high RPM.

Have fun.
