Default throttle body question

Hey guys im new here. I have a 2003 gt. I just recently installed an mac 75mm throttle body and bbk cold air kit. Now the car seems to be idling a bit high between 900-1000rpms. Also when i take my foot off the gas the rpms seem to take a couple of seconds to start going down. I can shift into second and not even touch the gas and the car will cruise forward at 1700rpms. I know it seems like its sticking open but i dont see any way to adjust it. I was told itd probably stop after a week or so but i dont really think it will. any suggestions? its really annoying even almost dangerous trying to drive like that especially in the snow/ice hahaha.

Did you disconnect the battery durring or after the install? The reason I ask is because the computer needs to learn the changes you made and adjust accordingly. Disconnecting the battery for about an hour causes the computer to learn from scratch as opposed to trying to continue running the old setings with a new set of parameters. (ie more air than before) It will eventually work itself out, but it expedites the process if you disconnect the battery for a while.

^^^^ WHAT HE SAID! also i had to adjust mine because the throttle would get stuck shut. there is a little screw in the upper right/left hand side that u can adjust the throttle plate with. it almost sounds like yours is open a little much.

MyBBK is doing that too.. When I let off the throttle it sticks and then I have to punch the gas a little extra hard to get it to open up.. then I end up pushing it too much so it revs really high. I noticed that the old throttle body had a hole drilled in it. Would it be a bad thing to drill a hole about the same size as that on on my new throttle plate or should I just mess with the little screw on the upper left corner...

yeah, the MAC sticks sometimes. rest assured you got more gains from the MAC than the accufab though. i got 2RWHP more with the MAC, but i had the shop put on an accufab cause it looked purdy.
