Well what if i go with a normal mechanical fuel pressure gauge and mount it behind my cowl, then i wont need an isolator right? also if its done well you think it will look good?

Wow, lots of inaccurate stuff here.

Why would a mechanical gauge be any more accurate than an electrical one? If you have an inaccurate electrical gauge, you bought a cheap gauge. Autometer etc will be accurate.

Nothing says fun like getting sprayed in the face with hot oil or explosive gasoilne in a wreck though! Thats the only difference (that and price) between a mechanical gauge and an electrical one.

The mechanical gauges force you to run a acutal hose into the passenger compartment carrying whatever your measuring (gasoline, oil) while an electrical one has a sender unit connected to a source of the gas/oil and you only need to run the wires.

In a situation like a rollover, the worst thing that can happen with an electrical gauge is the sender breaks off the mount point (if the wreck is that bad, the car is toast anyway). However, with a mechnical gauge inside the car your looking at a bad situation. The last thing you want is superheated oil or flammible gasoline (or both) spraying all over you and the entire compartment in a wreck.

electrical FTW!

to each is own and all you can state is an opinion......I still prefer mech oil gauge with copper tubing, I agree I would never run a gas line but if you rollover your car it dont matter where it is, it will still go where it wants to.....

you'll waste more nitrous in the extra line if you get mechanical gauges. i got all electric gauges, install was cleaner and easier.

For mechanical oil pressure they say to use copper lines.

Ok, thanks 2000GT4.6 Thats what I wanted to hear. I'll go all electrical.

I dont "REALLY" need a nitrous gauge, but I think it'll be cool.
