Default Pi intake swap help

Alright well I just got back from my neighbors garge, and its offical, my crappy plastic intake is cracked so this means that i am now upgrading to a pi intake manifold. So my question is where can i find the heater tube and gasgets and intake for the best prices. Ill be getting addapter plates so ill need both pi and npi gasgets.

I just installed a non-pi alum intake because I thought the spacers were very costly?? How much do they run and where do you get them. I didn't wanna mess with cutting and using RTV sealant (cobjob) on the PI???

You do not need spacers.. A little bit of RTV and you will be fine..
Go onto modulardepot, go into their forums sections, then go head over to ford factory parts.. post in there asking randy what you need... Tell him what you got and what you are doing, then he will be able to hook you up.. I paid $90 for everything for my alum pi intake swap minus intake mani...

You'll never get me to put silicone between a wterjacket main and a cylinder intake!!No friggin way! I have heard many stories about what happens with that and it's only a matter of time! Silicone does not hold up for a super long time like that. I suppose if you did it to go through one summer it would be fine,. but I hate doin stuff twice!

eh, i guess if you want that little piece of mind, then it won't be a bad idea to get the plates.. but many people run the rtv with the intake manifold swap and have no problems..
