Default Cobra heads

Will the Cobra 4-valve heads swap onto a 2001 GT? If so what gains should I expect to see?

You're completely wrong. It's the same block. They bolt right up.

If you want more info search modulardepot. They have a few people who've done it.

normally i would agree wit u. but in my opinion, why wouldnt it? the best heads u can get for a 2v are a pi swap or 99-04 gt heads. so why not get heads and do some work to make them fit that u will actually c a gain on. its not like a 5.0 where u have thousands of choices of heads. i would say do it. its unique and u may make tons of power and have a lot more potential to work wit.

Because for the same price you are going to pay to do a 4v conversion you could buy a supercharger. It is not just heads that you need, you need timing cover, chains, cams, computer, wiring harness, computer, intake, TB, instrument cluster and a tune along with a bunch of little crap that I can not think of right now.
