Just do not be like a moron I saw awhile ago.......... 302 emblem in place of the 4.6 emblem on the fenders. NICE!!!!!!!! [8D][8D]

I say stay OEM.....I love the way the OEM emblems look on all the model Mustangs.

Just make sure you heat the emblem up before removing it....i was an idiot and didnt do it and lost some paint along with the emblem on the driver side but the passenger side came off fine....and those emblems will definately cover the holes

I got those 281 emblems from American Muscle last year. They are nice, but I didn't like them too much. After 6 months, I took those off and got the tri-bar running pony fender emblems (like the v6's and Mach 1's). I like the running pony a lot more.

I replaced my GT trunk lid badge with a 281 badge and get alot of compliments on it. People think I have some special edition mustang.

Use a piece of 20 to 30 lb. test monofilament fishing line to "saw" through the double-sided foam--keep it pulled back away from the body and the badge will come right off. Because there are locating pins on most OEM badges you won't be able to saw right through, but you'll get enough so that the badge will come off easily, This is sort of like the way you use piano wire to cut out as windshield...Then use you fingernail and "Goo-gone" or "Prep-All" to remove the remaining sticky foam. To put the badges back on clean the sticky foam off and use the 3M gray moulding tape--sticks like baby sh!** to a blanket...
