Default E.T. question and some general thoughts

I am currently on the fence right now about selling my GT and shelling out the extra cash for a cobra or a mach if I could find one. I really dont wnat to sell my car as its the first nice thing I have ever baught myself and I baught her brand new. So I am trying to convince myself to keep her for the time being. I am wondering how much of an improvement I can expect in my E.T. if I get 4.10's and some E.T. Streets. I'm looking for input from people who have actually made the swap. My car is a 5spd with the mods listed below. Right now I just dipped into the 13's...barely and am wondering how deep I can go with just the gears and tires. My best friend has a Caprice 9C1 with some stuff done to it...last season he was running 14.0X and is gunning for me. He just baught E.T. streets with some rims to put them on and I know he is going to take me unless I do something. I know this is a ford fan basis here...but I have to give that chevy some credit...that LT1 is running strong with 130k on it....

the only bag thing about the e/t streets is in order for you not to bog you'd have to launch at redicilously high rpm's..we all know how that is on the car...but the gears would work great [8D] you can probably get mid 13s with 3.73s find whcih drag radial fits your needs the best

Im gunning for 12.9 with full bolt ons and full suspension with 410 gears Im just waiting to go back to the track now that I have some drag radials. Everyone says its possible and they even have a sticky on it so it just comes down to me driving.

Forced Induction will definately happen if I end up keeping this car. I am just wondering about the gears and tires for now because that will be what I would do for the first trip to the track with my friend.
