I just got my slp lm 1. Let me say this thing screams lol. Its only a matter of time before I get pulled over for it. It makes it extra loud since I have a o/r h pipe. All of you told me it would be loud and it is.

I had magnaflows not the magnapacks. They were pretty loud but nothing near this. lol

 

Ha, yeah that's a pretty big sound upgrade as far as dB go. Magnaflows aren't that much louder than stock. How did the sound quality change though? I'd get a catted midpipe, that would quiet things down.

 

I dont mind the loudness for now. The magnaflows were alot more refined. These sound more like a freakin nascar lol. I like them for now untill I get a ticket lol since I dont have a manual I cant exactly just push the clutch and let the rpms drop mine just seem to hang there.

I have the Magnaflow catback, not the packs, in my 03 vert auto and the 2000rpm drone gets annoying. The sound is great at WOT or cruising around town, but when you are cruising on the highway, under load like going up a hill or accelerating, the 2000k rpm drone (65-70mph) is annoying.
From what I can find, it's a vert thing because of all the empty space in the back where the top lives.

I love them anyway.
