So I've had it installed for about a month now and I'm drivin yesterday when all of a sudden I couldn't get into any gears while rompin on it...hmm. So I keep adjusting the cable to engage higher (it was engaging really low) and after a minute of driving it would engage low again...hmmmmm. So today I'm on my way to the shop thinking the clutch fork messed up again and all of a sudden bam, no more getting it in gear. I coasted to a stop and popped the hood to find that the cable had split wide open and the wire had come all undone...WTF!? A freaking cable can't even do it's job right? Anyway, because it's Ford RACING, it's not warrantied. AWESOME. Oh yea, and towing is expensive.

Anyone else had something like this happen?

It should be warrantied if its from Ford. The install may not be warrantied unless Ford installed it.

Just as I said before, racing parts are not warrantied. I verified with both Ford and my shop. Bull****.

The King Cobra Clutch is a Ford Racing part and that is Warrantied through Ford unless it wasn't installed by someone that is Ford Authorized.

Well maybe I was misinformed, or they just didn't tell me about the Ford install issue. Of course I installed it, so I'm screwed. Oh well what can you do...
