I had my brother ride in another car with the speedometer working correctly and I was riding right beside him reading his odometer gauge. I was about 25 miles over than what he was. For example he drove at 40 mph and I was at 65 mph.

i think with the T45 you can get a speedo gear.
If he has 3.73's it'll not match up

then id have a mechanic look at it and determine if the wear on the vehicle matches the mileage.. lower gears + stock speedo = odometer showing less miles than were actually driven. if thats the case, even if you bought it off a guy from ebay, if he misrepresented the vehicle's mileage per federal law you are entitled to a full refund

Incorrect. If the car is over 10 years old the odometer reading is exempt

At what rpm, and in what gear, were you running when you did this comparison? Also, if you are indeed off by 25 mph (high) at 40, and we assume the existing speedometer drive is stock/stock tires/etc., thenit would take5.30 gears to make that kind of difference...
