Ok I've been searching the web trying to find out what the thing under the hood is called. The thing with the stang on it...
If anyone knows what it's called it'd be helpful. It's not the firewall but the foam thing.

Yes, But I've googled mustang hood insulation and only findit for the trunk... I told my dad it'd be cool if they make chrome ones because his is a little dirty from over the years... We though about taking it off but he said there will be a hole in the hood from the scoop...

Its just called hood insulation in my `00 service manual. As far as I know, there will be no hole from the scoop as it is fake. There will only be four small holes where the little bolts come through the hood that hold the scoop on. If you remove the scoop.
