will cut-outs help or hinder an N/A car? just wondering.

If you are reffering to an N/A modular. 99% of the time, yes. Only exceptions are very crazy N/A race cars. With your mods it will slow you down.

+1, I have cutouts and hell they sound sweet wide open, but definetly not as quick, and noticbly not as quick, its not on my head, it really is slower...

I also have them. It made my car slower but sure sounds good with the cams.

Unless someone can show definitive proof that its slowing you down I definatly don't buy it. Your not going to see any losses with a cutout, even if you probably won't see any gains with it either.

backpressure wise its not going to be much difference between the cutouts and say a magnaflow straight thru muffler dumped. The only way I can see a power loss is if you are running it (the cutout) before the midpipe... in which case your loosing the scavanging effect.
