when i was in the market for one i did alot of researching, somewhere i remember hearing bad things about transgo products. i would do some searching on transgo or talk to a few other people who have them before you buy anything from transgo. if i come accross one of those threads, i will be sure to post it.

i have read one of those threads before and one person has a problem so everybody jumps on the bandwagon. I have never had a problem nor has 5 of my other buddies. You just have to know how to install it correctly.

I've always heard Transgo is the BEST, not to use anything else. Interesting.

I'm a little confused why you would need ato installa trans cooler when doing the dhift kit though. Usually shift kits end up reducung trans heat due to quicker shifts, although the difference is negligible.

either shift kit, if done property is fine. the tranny cooler, depending on which type you get can run as cheap as 60 bucks or upwards of 200. the hardest part is deciding there to mount it, and doing the electrical

I've had both in two separate automatics. The TransGo shifts a little firmer than the Bauman. But either are good choices. As for install, it shouldn't take more than a day. Instructions are included in both kits. Total w/cooler should be about 160$ max. Shop around
