Default NEW MAF? What does this do?

Hey Guys, I never have understood the Performance of the MAF Sensor, I have replaced my Air intake with a MAC CAI, and I have put a 75MM Throttle Body on, and a C&L Pleanum. Do I need to do a New Maf? What will this do for my car? I have a Automatic 01 GT
Thanks, Phil

Default RE: NEW MAF? What does this do?

The only way a maf acutally adds horsepower is if you are drawing enough air you need a larger diameter maf to accomodate it.

A boltons only car is not going to see significant/any gains from a MAF swap. On top of that you would need to do a a/f check to make sure it reads the same as your stock MAF. Just not worth it.
