this guy that buys wrecked cars has a trans out a mustang so i went down to check it out he said it was out of a 03 cobra but its not a 6speed it says tremec on the top and sides but thats it is there any way i could tell what trans really is.

I think that there is a oretty low chance of an 03 cobra without a t56, he could be mistaken.

You can tell just by looking at them here is a pic comparing the t56 to the 3650. the t56 is on the left if its neither of these then try "googling" t45 but if he is telling the truth I once again I higly doubt its not a t56
