Weird squeak noise after shifting..

Weird squeak noise after shifting..
So sometimes randomly coming from first or second gear and up through fifth, after I shift and get back into the gas in a normal fashion, I hear some weird squeaking noise for only a second. It's not grinding, it's not difficult getting into gear, it just makes this really odd noise. And it's relatively quiet, and not coming from a squeaky pedal or anything.
It doesn't happen all the time, either and it's more of a nuisance. I've had one person tell me input shaft, and I wanted to get some more opinions. Please put my mind at ease!
