Does anyone have there break calipers painted...I went to go get mine done and this guy says if you paint them it will "burn" off...I was like wtf...I wanted them painted black and the "cobra" touched up in white...any idea's...?

He's right that will happen but only if you use "regular" paint. You need paint designed especially for brake calipers. It's not exspensive at all Auto Zone had a can for $8.99. The red on my calipers isn't chipping or anything.

will one can paint all 4 calipers? And did you only paint the outsides of the calipers or the whole thing?

my buddy painted his calipers and it still is nice looking an hasn't burnt off. i believe just one can should do it. i have some of the paint i picked up at the auto store but i haven't done it as it seems to much work for my lazy ***. you just need to tape the rotors etc. unless you get the paint that comes with the little paint brush.
