Default Track This weekend

Im going to miland dragway this weekend. So far i have a cold air intake which i think it sux... any recomendations on which cold air intake is the best for a 98 gt. I also have flowmaster catback U/D pulleys, im getting a 3:73 gear put in thursday im doing a Pro 50 short shifter this week and im gonna throw a BBK H pipe and bbk upper plenum and 75 mm TB. its a 5 speed. I have cooper cobra zeon's 17x8 and i deflated them last week to 25 psi and was still all over the track and it was my first time, i launched at 3500 and ran a 14.70. what should i do differant and what kinda time is my car capable of?

you should pick up a few tenths. with the gears, you may have to adjust your launch, as launching at 3500 may cause wheelspin due to your shorter gears. what were your 60ft times? you want to launch with as little wheelspin as possible. wich will take practice to find your cars sweet spot.

My 60ft times were 2.267 w/ a quarter mile time of 14.703 and i let off the gas in first gear cause i didnt hook up. that was my second run w/ a launch of 3500. the first 60ft time was 2.477 w/ a 1/4 mile time of 14.99 my first ever drag

you are launching way too high. you want to leave the line as quick as you can with a little wheelspin as possible. try lowering your rpms each time you launch until you find a good rpm to launch at.
