cant get the crank out!

how the hell do you remove the crankshaft on a 4.6 sohc, removed the bolts but the caps wont come off, the book said something about jack screws, but i dont see them. HELP PLEASE!

jack screws are on the side of the block, about an inch above the oil pan skirt.

take a rubber mallet or plastic deadblow and hit the top of the main caps to break em loose

OK , just found out waht the jack screws are, they are small fittings that screw into the side of the caps to hold them in place and the outside bolts go rite thru them, if you look down at the caps youll see a round washer looking thing, i suspected that it was a screw and was rite, what a pain.
