Default Header install question

Im thinking about installing some shorty headers on my 01 GT due to the fact that I have lowered the car, and I was wondering the best way to go about doing it. I have installed headers on a 5.0, but Im sure it's completely different. I was mainly wondering if you can do it from under the hood, or if you have to get under the car, or do you have to pull the motor slightly to gain clearance. Thanks

For shorties pulling the motor isnt nessesary. Even with the LT headers, you just need to jack up one side of the motor.
