Default fuel injector question

i have just over 67,00 miles on the whip...i am wondering if i should clean the fuel injectors...have them run thru that machine that they have at like tire kingdom??? wut do u guys think

I suppose.. Would that mean you take them out of the car, or do they do the work for you?? If you have to take them out of the car, you might as well replace the o-rings, and fuel filter, along with maybe even cleaning the rails...

I can't see how it would hurt, although you may want to see what kind of liability you/Tire Kingdom have on this kind of procedure, in the event one of them is damaged in the process..

With a basically stock engine there's no real need to have them professionally cleaned (and I doubt very much that whatever Tire Kingdom has planned qualifies as professional cleaning). Modern gasoline has plenty of additives to keep themplenty clean for most of their service life--if you want run a can of Techron through every 20k to 25k, it won't make any dramatic difference but it won't hurt or break anything either.[/align][/align]It's only when you start flirting with detonation from high boost orvery aggressive tuningthat having the injectors squeaky clean and matched really matters.[/align][/align]

most mechanics have a high pressure machine that will flush and clean the injectors...
