Default Painting calipers

My buddy wants to paint his calipers red...anything special about doing this?

im gonna do mine too

make sure you use a high temp paint

i got rustoleum in metallic blue...they make rustoleum specifically for satin too...may wanna look into that. give em at least 2 coats

thne clearcoat em for that nice finished look

before you start clean em and sand them. get all the dirt and as much of the loss metal flakes (rust or watever) off so it doenst chip. i didnt use high temp paint and mine are still shining so its not that necessary i used that stuff at autozone.

yup. Just get em REALLY clean mang. Brake cleaner will work well, because if there is any grease or oil on them you are fuggered and teh paint won't stick.

EDIT: make sure you monkeys take them OFF the car first LOL

the best way to paint them and have it stick well is to use several(between 4 and 7) VERY thin coats of paint. and put a couple of clear coats over that.
