where are they attached at? i could easily figure it out myself, but i wont get to it until around like 8 or later tonight... and if i know where exactly to look, it will give me a little more daylight to work with.

is it just a couple hex bolts on the inside of the trunk?

There are six 6 mm studs with 10 mm hex nuts that hold the tail light housings in. You need to remove the rear trunk liner panel, and pull back the side liner panels a bit to get at them. Once you get the trunk liner out you can't miss them...
