Default PI head non pi head valve lift question..

Can the PI heads handle a greater lift than a non pi head?

I believe so yes. If you look at aftermarket cams for both the NPI heads are usually .500 valve lift at .050 duration and the PI are .550

EDIT: but I've also seen PI heads with .600 lift cams as well so I'm not sure what each set up would max out at.
